Virtually Impossible (Once and Forever #2) by Lauren Stewart

Virtually Impossible (Once and Forever, #2)
by Lauren Stewart
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Fairy tales aren’t real…but love is.

Sara has a kick-ass life—loyal friends, a house in San Francisco, and an amazing job as a virtual assistant. It's perfect…except that Sara doesn’t actually exist. She’s just a borrowed name that Andi Clark hides behind. Using a fake identity lets Andi stay safely shielded behind the screen of her computer and concealed from the real world. With her history, pretending to be someone she’s not is the only way Andi can make up for the mistakes of her past. Not exactly ideal, but hey, no one’s life is perfect.

Actually...

Hayden Bennett’s life is pretty damn perfect. He’s married to a beautiful woman, lives in a luxury apartment, and is prepped to take over the multi-million dollar company his father built. Perfect...except that his wife is madly in love with someone else, his career is meaningless, and he’s forgotten how to live, let alone be happy. But when Hayden hires a new virtual assistant named Sara, her sharp wit and intelligence leaves him wanting something more. Something real. Something incredible.

Two people need to wake up to understand how perfect they are...for each other. If they can't, any chance either of them have of finding a happily ever after will be virtually impossible.

**NOTE: Even though this is the second book in the Once and Forever series, it can be read as a standalone!!

No secret that I'm a huge Lauren fan - her writing is just ... well, how should I put it, oh yeah: MY FAVORITE CUP OF TEA!! I love er PNR books and when she published Darker Water (currently 99c!!), I was game right away. Finishing it I wanted, no, I craved more of this world she created. The characters are perfectly imperfect, yet funny, sexy and so .... normal! Yeah, you read correctly - this whole series is refreshing. You'll notice that once you start you can't seem to put the books down.

Needless to say, everyone NEEDS a Hayden in their life! Well, at least get to know him in the books if you can't find him on the streets lol. He's a swoon-worthy man. Body to lust after. A personality to dream of. Overall, one hell of  a man. A man that is too nice. Too caring. Too good. Thus, he's sort of trapped in a marriage that isn't really a marriage anymore - or was it ever? No. No worries, though, there's no cheating going on in this book - you have to trust me on this one.

Hayden's life is fine. Fine. And the word fine is not a good fine. It's a I-decided-to-don't-feel-anything-anymore and live a mediocre life, accepting that fine is as best as it gets., especially after the childhood he had. The  burden he's carrying around with him ever since.

That was until he met his new virtual assistant, Sara, aka Sira, and real life Andi. She turned his stiff and calculate life upside down. She brought the life and excitement back into his life and mind through a pc screen. Her quirky and open personality is refreshing and Hayden soon finds himself wanting to meet his awesome assistant in person.

He's confused about what's going on.... so is Andi. She's hiding, not just behind a screen but from the world as well.

Both are drawn to another but Andi's scared to take things farther and has every reason to. Hayden is everything BUT  a quitter so he's very persistent when it comes to her. He not only wants to get to know the real Sira, he wants, needs her in his life.

This was yet another page-turner by Lauren Stewart. You know you love a book and its characters when you notice you're sporting a goofy grin on your face throughout the book. Double thumbs up! Virtually Impossible is a book you don't want to skip out on.
