Book Review: Manwhore by Katy Evans

Manwhore (The Manwhore Series, #1)
by Katy Evans
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Is it possible to expose Chicago's hottest player--without getting played?

This is the story I've been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don't be fooled by that last name though. There's nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he's a man's man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.

Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he's been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that's where I come in.

Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I'm determined to make him the story that will change my career.

But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I'm the one discovering him...or if he's uncovering me.

What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?

"I don't understand you, Malcolm. See, this is why I don't want a relationship. It would kill me to try to figure out my man."
- "It's killing him trying to figure you out."

He was supposed to be a job.

He was supposed to be her entry ticket to boost her career.

He wasn't supposed to flip her world upside down.

She wasn't supposed to let her walls down.
He wasn't supposed to let her in.
She wasn't supposed to give her heart away.
He wasn't supposed to accept her heart

They were not meant to fall for each other.
It wasn't supposed to hurt...but it did.

Whoa, I think I got swept off my feet by a sinner... or a saint?
Katy Evans create another juicy, very delicious character who makes us ladies want to drop their panties!! Meet Malcolm Saint, Chicago's hottest and notorious bachelor/billionaire. He's known as a shark in the business world and when it comes to women - always hungry, never satisfied... until a good girl comes along and makes him want to be a better man. A man no one believed he could be.

What happens when a sinner gets a taste of his own medicine? Yes, you guessed it leads to heartbreak and betrayal.

"What is this? Am I a challenge to you now?"
- "A challenge is something you stop wanting once you acquire it. I can't know if you're a challenge yet until I make you mine."

Rachel played with fire and in the end not only she got burnt but Saint, too. Katy has written a fun, lighthearted romance about two people - who couldn't be more different - who fall slowly but deeply in love for each other. A love that wasn't supposed to happen; a love that scares, entices but also fulfills them both.

Malcolm Saint was definitely my favorite character in this book. He was a man after my taste but also a big fun boy -  he made me laugh and swoon to the same time. No wonder every woman is crazy about him; Katy created a man, build like a Greek God with a devil inside, awakening every woman's deepest desires.

"I'm not endearing to people, Miss Livingston. I'd say people respond to me on four levels and four levels only: they want to pray to me, be me, do me, or kill me."

If you enjoyed Katy's previous men than Saint won't disappoint you; she's this talent to create characters that make you swoon and crave for more -  Saint is no exception. I can't wait to read book two because Manwhore ended with a cliffhanger that made my chin hit the ground - she got me good!

When reading the paperback one song reminded me so much of Rachel and Saint's situation, I'm kind of obsessed with it. Here it's. Enjoy!
